If you have cool zone leaders, they will organize a zone activity each transfer. For our activity this time, we purchased four live chickens took them to the mango farm where Brother Benjie lives, killed them and each district took made it into delicious dishes. I even had the chance to kill one of the chickens! It was a good and fun time.

Ah Kent. Reminds me of my younger girlhood. My aunt and uncle had a farm in South Salt Lake County and raised chickens (among other things)--not as pets but for food--and we would engage in like activity as you mention to prepare the many fowls for future dinners.
