Hello!
The week was good for Elder Tague and I. We're really working hard to find some more people to teach. We've been calling all of the people in our area book and our phone to try and get appointments with them. Progress has been slow but steady. It's just been fun to go back and visit those people that I used to work with along with new members and investigators that we are getting to know now.
Miracle of the week: So there's a guy named Sanjay that we used to visit pretty often last year. He had been less active and so we worked really hard with him and he started coming back to church regularly. He even went on exchange with us a few times and started preparing for a mission. After I left, he fell back into his old routine and stopped coming to church for a whole year. Since then, his home has shifted but we hunted it out last week and paid him a visit. He was so excited to see us! He told us he couldn't come to church because of his work schedule but I guess the Spirit taught him after we left that he really needs to come to church. Guess who walked into sacrament meeting yesterday! Sanjay! Hooray!
Oh and it was so good to see my converts at church yesterday. They are so strong in the gospel now. Veerraju gave a 10 minute talk in sacrament meeting and nailed it. After that, Sagarika taught Gospel Principles class. She said it was her first time to teach a class, but she taught as though she had plenty of experience. So cool to see their progression.
That's about it for us. I'm looking forward to a great week and hope you all have the same!
Love,
Elder Thompson
Riding a bicycle all day is tiring. So I hired Revanth as my new driver!
Look how cute they are!!
This is what happens when one of the elders leaves his bike at the church. We need to get it home somehow. It was working great until the brakes on my bike exploded from too much pressure!
The new church building is ALMOST done!! Once it is done, it will probably be the nicest church building in all of Rajahmundry. Everybody is eagerly waiting for it to open.
We had a ton of rain last week! The result was walking through puddles and riding our cycles through flooded streets.
