Hello!
The highlight of the week was watching General Conference which was AMAZING. It's so great to hear the words of the living prophets and apostles. We even had a few people that we met on the street this week attend conference! They seemed to feel the spirit as they listened to God's chosen servants.
We've been working closely with the members and many of them have given us friends that are interested to hear about the gospel! We've done our best to jump on those opportunities to teach them.
We also had some pretty fun experiences this week. Last Monday, we went to the Korukanda temple to see the view. It's a flight of 600 really steep stairs up the side of a hill to a really old Hindu temple. We went with the zone leaders and our good buddy, Ravi Kishore. I went there last year as well and there were tons of monkeys but this time we didn't see any. Regardless of that, we had a great time.
I don't have too much to write this week, but I took quite a few pictures so I'll send those out in a few more emails.
Until next time!
Love,
Elder Kent Richard Thompson

| Here we are getting the classic "treats after priesthood session." Strangely, we were the only ones there in white shirts and ties. |
